City Pillar Shrine is a religious place resulting from Brahmin religious beliefs. Although there are no direct Brahmins in Pattani, but with certain beliefs and traditions that are still related to the Brahmin ceremony. Therefore, the Pattani City Pillar Shrine was built as a pillar of the country to bring prosperity and happiness. The City Pillar Shrine is enshrined in the Sak Seni area on the left bank of the Pattani River. Adjacent to Benchamaratchuthit School, Pattani Phraya Rattanaphakdi was the governor of the province and Mr. Prom Chukhae was the district governor of Muang Pattani. Built on May 13, 1951, Somdej Phra Sangkharat (Wat Saket) is the auspicious giver of the city of Pattani.
